A DAY IN THE LIFE!

As a sales associate, you will start your day by reviewing and identifying new freight opportunities. You will contact clients regularly to keep deals moving and negotiate pricing. Additionally, you will connect with our internal teams to ensure smooth operations and follow up with existing partners to capitalize on additional opportunities. YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Find and book freight for company equipment.
  • Work with customers to negotiate pricing, ensuring profitability.
  • Enter loads into the transportation management system (TMS) and collaborate with the customer service team to share load information.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers to expand business opportunities.
  • Develop and build strong relationships with new customers to cultivate new business opportunities.

YOUR SKILLSET

  • Proven time management skills, with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with changing deadlines and priorities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, concise, and accurate information.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Employment is contingent upon completion of the SPD employment process (including a background check).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ year(s) of experience in a sales position, preferably within the transportation environment.

SALARY AND SCHEDULE

  • Salary: $25.00 per hour.
  • Schedule: Full-time on-site.
